Breeding season is over!

Hopefully. Unless one of the young does cycles again. Something about our new barn setup has turned the Bucks into testosterone fueled nut jobs. We are housing them individually in 12 x 12 stalls with open tube gate doors so they can still visit with and see one another. Somehow life in the boys barn has turned into a literal pissing contest. Yes, literally. At any time fountains of urine can be seen arcing across the barns central aisle. It's disgusting. And hazardous.

The breeding plan for 2016 kids didn't exactly pan out as I had in mind. The recent move squelched any plans I had of "off the farm dates" due to lack of time and energy and too many other pending projects. Still, I'm excited to see more of Bonner's kids born in the spring and well as see his first daughter freshen. I'm excited to see a few of our King daughters come in to milk this spring as well as hopefully look for toggenburg doe kids out of Max to carry on Macy's genetics.

2016 breedings are as follows, look to our website concerning specific due dates and prices in the coming weeks.

Saanens: Luciana x Mickey, Linden x Mickey, Filomena x Mickey, Gemma x Max (experimental)

Alpines: Charlotte x Bonner, Chicory x Bonner, Isadora x Bonner, Sofia x Bonner, Carolina x Bugs,
              Charming x Max (experimental)

Toggenburgs: Maribel x Flash, Emilene x Max, Embry x Max, Emogen x Max

Nubian: Sabine x Mickey (for snubian babies!)
